Privacy policy

Who I am

This website is run by Veganized by cbusveganbaddie ("Veganized," "I," "me"), a small home-based food business in Columbus, Ohio. This policy explains how I handle personal information collected through this website, the drop list, Instagram messages and orders.

What I collect

• Drop list: your first name and email address. The drop list is managed through Kit (kit.com), which stores your info and sends my emails. You'll get a confirmation email to make sure it's really you.
• Orders: your name, contact info (email or phone), order details, and a pickup or delivery address if you choose delivery.
• Messages: anything you send me through email, Instagram or the contact page, including allergy questions.
• Payments: handled by a third-party payment service. I don't see or store your full card number.
• Technical info: like most websites, this site's hosting provider (Cloudflare) and the font service it uses (Google Fonts) may receive your IP address and basic browser information when you visit. I don't use advertising trackers.

How I use it

• To send drop announcements and pre-order info if you asked for them
• To take, prepare, and hand off or deliver your order
• To answer your questions, including about ingredients and allergens
• To keep basic business and tax records as required by law

Who I share it with

I don't sell, rent or trade your personal information. I only share it with services that help me run the business (such as my website host Cloudflare, my email list provider Kit, and a payment processor) so they can do that job, or when the law requires it.

Emails

You'll only get marketing emails if you opt in. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask me to remove you at any time.

How long I keep it

Drop-list info is kept until you unsubscribe. Order records are kept as long as needed for taxes and business records, then deleted.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information I have about you by contacting me (details below). I'll respond within a reasonable time.

Kids

This site isn't directed to children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you think a child has shared their info with me, let me know and I'll delete it.

Other sites

This site links to Instagram and other services that have their own privacy policies. I'm not responsible for how they handle your information.

Security

I take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no method of storing or sending data online is 100% secure.

Changes

If I update this policy, I'll change the date at the top of the page. Big changes will be announced to the drop list.
